The site offers an excellent environment for scientific symposia, in which participants remain together to enjoy stimulating presentations, engage in intense discussions and multiple encounters across disciplines, without ‘urban’ or other distractions.
Out-door activities include hiking on well marked mountain trails nearby,
boat trips on the Lake Lucerne, visits to the Urmiberg using the local cable car, and many others.
Lucerne is within easy reach with its museums, shops and sights.
The weather may vary considerably in this season. Be prepared for cold weather and rain as well as warm and sunny spring days. Do not forget to bring your hiking boots or running shoes.
